Gaja is an experienced and skilled raw food chef / detox coach / vitality consultant with an holistic approach. Through her background experience with different Native American ceremonies like sweat-lodges, Shamanic Trance Dances and as firekeeper, she holds space for the authentic truth that is longing to be rediscovered. It is her passion to assist others identifying their true inner radar: connected from that place dieting is no longer needed. Instead of going from one diet to the other, the core need is about learning to listen to the body. Her strength is to support anyone creating a trusting food-body relationship. With her holistic approach she utilizes the wisdom of different tools, for example therapeutic essential oils that have great potential for healing on emotional, physical and spiritual level.
Womens health especially has her attention since we are in a profound time of transformation were we as women are called reconnect to the earth as much as we are called to reconnect to our womb – intuitive system – the digestive system. Recognizing our essence, our root, we have access to infinite creative potential. For the last few years as mother and living in Ängsbacka’s community, she also has been an active board-member to realize Sweden’s first vegetarian holistic preschool.
Since I was a teenager till now, I’ve been interested in everything to do with food, gathering knowledge and experience on nutrition. After receiving my bachelor degree in Foodtechnology and product-developement I knew everything about the food industry but I was all but happy. I was walking around with vague symptoms that created slime in my sinuses, lack of energy, loss of deeper purpose, anxiety and had recently survived a liver inflammation. I knew eating foods from food industry were related to my symptoms and I was determined to find a way to heal my body. I went to India to study ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and holistic healing methods. Back in Amsterdam I found out about the benefits of rawfoods and super foods so I dived into the rawfood lifestyle. A process of deep cellular- and emotional cleansing and heavy metal detoxification of the liver changed my life. I started a healing program with Amy Rachelle and became certified rawfood chef of Pure Raw Teachings. These teachings are based on food combining and candida free rawfood lifestyle. Thanks to this journey I know how self-empowering it is to take control of your own health. I feel deeply reconnected.
Something that I love about supporting people with ‘tweaking’ food related habits : It can change your life! In all these years I’ve really seen people going through deep transformation. By taking this responsibility for our body we immediately feel the responsibility and deep connection we have with the earth.
